Unexpected Composing Challenge

A wise old friend of mine who happens to be a marketing wiz suggested that I record for posterity some of the crazier stories I've told him over the years. Stories of unexpected composing challenges I've been posed in the course of this job.

I've always enjoyed public speaking and often throw in one of these stories at the end of a talk. Just to be clear, it's not to put anyone in the audience off. It's a dose of what the job actually entails rather than what they might think it entails, behind the scenes without the rose tinted glasses so to speak.
